A CEREMONY to honour various artists has been set for The Venue in Avondale come July 11.
Dubbed ‘‘Voices That Rock Zim awards and Hall Of Fame: A Celebration Of Zimbabwe’s Iconic Voices’’ seeks to showcase the contemporary voices that dominate the country’s creative and marketing landscapes.
The ceremony is the first of its kind and it is designed to raise the profile of those who are gifted with the gift of public speaking, radio presenting, voice-over-work, voice acting, event MC hosting, sports commentary and even comedy.
Fifteen legendary individuals, whose contributions have left an indelible mark on Zimbabwe’s heritage, will be inducted into the Hall of Fame.
Announcing this event, Mr Jefferson Muserera, who is the KComms PR and Communications Manager, said:
“We are inviting Zimbabweans from all walks of life to be a part of this event that recognises individuals that have impacted their lives over the years by sharing their personal testimonies of voices either on radio, television, social media or any other platform.
“We have a historic celebration to honour the most influential voices in the land that shape our culture, connect communities, and drive innovation across industries.
“This black-tie affair promises to be a night of inspiration, celebration and glamour, spotlighting the power of voice in shaping narratives and connecting brands to the hearts of millions.
“This event matters because it captivates radio hosts to dynamic social media influencers, compelling voice actors and corporate communicators, Zimbabwe’s voice talent is at the heart of storytelling and connection.”
The awards celebrate these exceptional individuals who bridge the gap between brands and consumers while shaping the country’s cultural identity.
