VOICES THAT ROCK ZIM AWARDS POSTPONEMENT TO EARLY 2026
Harare, Zimbabwe – The organizers of the inaugural Voices That Rock Zim Awards & Hall of Fame Night
regret to announce the postponement of the event originally scheduled for July 11, 2025, due to current
funding limitations. In keeping with the spirit and standard expected of a national awards platform of this
nature, we have made the thoughtful decision to reschedule the ceremony to early 2026.
This move is not a cancellation but a commitment — a commitment to excellence, to honoring Zimbabwe’s
finest voice talents with the celebration they truly deserve, and to producing an unforgettable affair that
reflects the rich power and diversity of Zimbabwean voices.
“We believe that every voice matters, and it is in this belief that we are choosing patience over compromise.
The Voices That Rock Zim Awards must not only happen — they must inspire,” said the event’s founder
and creative director.
The extended timeline will allow for:
- Broader engagement with stakeholders, sponsors, and partners
- More robust production, marketing, and media planning
- Deeper inclusion of the diverse talent across Zimbabwe and the diaspora

and in this unique celebration of vocal artistry continues to fuel our resolve.
